ASAP was founded by Richard Megson and Tony Hill in 2014, and the platform is used by over a hundred estate agents in the UK. The company later released a video explaining the ‘Voice Accelerator’ was an April Fools stint.

“The industry loses a huge amount of time to chasing updates and repeated conversations, the reality is that there is sadly no shortcut to faster transactions”.

Richard Megson, Managing Director, ASAP

Property technology firms are in the process of looking to address the transactional delays in the UK property market. Some recent developments have included an AI powered property management platform by Inox for UK block management.

Following the recent appointment of Kate Billany, former TwentyCI chief executive, as sales director, ASAP shows the intention and vision of the company to continue to expand into estate agency, as their sales progression service strive to lower transaction times.

ASAP reflects on a larger industry discussion in relation to technology in property transactions, as many firms look to address the issues which affect transaction speeds. The common persistent issue of communication issues amongst conveyancing professionals and agents remains a challenge in the UK’s property market.
