iPlace Global has rebranded as PinLocal as it sets out to increase its use of artificial intelligence (AI) and live data.
The business connects consumers with conveyancers, law firms, RICS surveyors and removals companies via a group of comparison and home-moving platforms. iPlace Global also acquired AcqSoft in late 2025.
As part of the rebrand, PinLocal plans to use AI with live property information, Land Registry records, and its own data to enhance how customer enquiries are matched with professional firms. Tech will be used to provide firms with information about the customer, property and service required before initial contact.
“The value of AI for professional services, particularly property, cannot be ignored. These are essential, often complex services where better technology can make a material difference to speed, efficiency, quality and the customer experience.
“We can use AI and data to better understand what a customer needs, enrich an enquiry before it reaches a firm and ultimately connect that customer with the professional best placed to deliver the service.
“The move from iPlace Global to PinLocal is therefore much more than a rebrand. It signals our investment in the technology, data and infrastructure behind the company and our ambition to build a broader growth platform for professional services.”
Tom Durbin St George, Chief Revenue Officer, PinLocal
The business has six comparison platforms which covers conveyancing, property surveys and removals. They include Altium Legal, Conveyancing Index, Surveyors Compared, Removals Index, Moving Compared and Compare Conveyancing Quotes.
The rebrand will initially remain the UK property and home-moving market. The technology and lead-generation infrastructure is being developed to support other professional services in future.
