NVIDIA appoints Vice President to lead EMEA

Pioneer AI computing firm NVIDIA announces the appointment of a new Vice President to lead EMEA at the company.

NVIDIA appoints Paolo Guglielmini as Vice President to lead EMEA. The company has been a pioneer in accelerated computing, and their invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined computer graphics, sparked the era of modern AI, and is fuelling the creation of the metaverse.

Paolo Guglielmini, who has over 20 years of experience in the industry, is a strategic, global, and results-driven technology CEO. He brings analytical and strategic skills to set direction and drive change, and skills critical for any digital venture navigating today’s paradigm shift towards agentic AI.

Paolo’s previous roles include from 2010 till 2023 at Hexagon AB growing from Product Manager to becoming Group CEO. His progression was instrumental to the company’s pivot towards vertical software, which enabled customers to reap the benefits of 3D digitisation, and shareholders to 10X value along the way.

“Developers, startups, researchers and business partners across EMEA are building extraordinary things with AI, backed by NVIDIA’s platform. I’m here to support them. Grow this thriving ecosystem.

“Expand the region’s AI infrastructure so that nations and industries can shape digital intelligence on their own terms and transform it into growth and opportunity. I’m joining a truly impressive team and a culture built on relentless curiosity and speed. Fast, responsible AI adoption is a generational imperative for our region.”
