Lette appoints Head of Client Partnerships

Lette has appointed a key industry player from OnTheMarket, as AI moves into the operational living mainstream.

AI operating system for institutional residential property management Lette has appointed Mitch Hammond as Head of Client Partnerships, as AI in residential operations advances.

Mitch will lead partnerships with rental operators, investors and developers across institutional living segments, working with the sector’s leading teams to embed AI into how portfolios are leased, serviced and maintained.

“With the slowing rate of new rental developments coming to fruition, fund managers and asset managers are heavily reviewing operational expenditure and the performance of their operational teams.

“From a portal perspective, I was able to see how well each team performed, but it also highlighted that most rental operators had technology that wasn’t integrating, creating more problems than it solved.

“Moving to Lette is the perfect next step in my career, helping empower operational teams through our comprehensive leasing and property management platform.

“With the early momentum we’ve already built with some of the biggest funds and Fortune 500 operators, I’m confident we can roll the platform out across the UK market.”

Mitch Hammond, Head of Client Partnerships, Lette

Mitch joins Lette from arm of CoStar Group OnTheMarket, where he was Build to Rent Manager. There, he built the company’s Rental Operator proposition from the ground up, partnered with the sector’s leading operators, and became one of its most visible voices across the industry.

With a decade in property behind him, beginning in Build to Rent leasing in 2016, he has led the lease-up and mobilisation strategy for developments across the UK and brings a rare, ground-level understanding of what drives asset performance, retention and long-term income.

“Mitch knows this sector from the inside. He has spent years working alongside operators, understanding what really drives lease-up, retention and asset performance, and he brings the relationships and credibility to match.

“Operators are tired of vendors selling a vision and disappearing once the contract is signed. What the sector needs is a partner that takes responsibility for the KPIs from day one, and nobody understands that better than Mitch.”
