Zillow has launched a personalised home-buying hub curated to carefully navigate buyers through each stage of the purchasing process.
The hub organises the buying journey into four stages – setting a budget, finding a home, making an offer and closing – and the hub automatically updates as users complete key steps.
In addition, it brings affordability information, market insights, transaction tasks, documents and contacts for agents and lenders in one centralised space.
The hub also features BuyAbility, a real-time affordability tool that uses a buyer’s financial profile and current mortgage rates to predict which home price ranges and monthly payments can fit the buyer. BuyAbility was introduced towards the end of 2024 and received a significant upgrade last year.
It also comprises local market data like median days to pending, active listings and a one-year home price forecast – and a ‘shopper’s team’ with the buyer’s agent and loan officer, or the choice to connect unrepresented buyers with an agent through Zillow’s Agent Finder.
The feature is currently available on the Zillow iOS and Android apps, with a web version expected for the company’s website.
