OfficeBanao has secured $7.7m in funding as it looks to expand its footprint and further develop its technology platform within India’s commercial interiors market.
The round was completed in two tranches and included participation from existing investor Lightspeed alongside Mangum II and Medra Family. The transaction values the business at approximately $70m post-money.
Founded in 2022, OfficeBanao operates a platform that connects businesses with architects, contractors, designers and suppliers to manage office and retail fit-out projects through a single, digital workflow. The model is designed to streamline a process that remains highly fragmented, particularly across procurement, design coordination and project execution.
The company has grown its presence to over 15 cities, serving a mix of startups, SMEs and enterprise clients undertaking workspace development or refurbishment. It is now targeting expansion into the top 25 markets across India.
“Our ambition is to build the operating system for commercial interiors in India. Every design decision, every material procurement, every contractor assignment, every quality check – all connected, all data-driven, all transparent. That’s what transforms a services business into a scalable platform.”
Tushar Mittal, Founder, OfficeBanao
The business has reported strong revenue growth, increasing from ₹22 crore in FY23 to ₹138 crore in FY25, with further growth projected as demand for structured, technology-led fit-out solutions continues to rise.
Alongside expansion, the company is investing in platform development, with a focus on integrating data across the project lifecycle – from planning and design visualisation through to contractor management and delivery. The approach reflects a broader shift towards digitisation in the construction and interiors segment, where coordination and visibility remain key operational challenges.
The latest funding will also support team growth and deeper market penetration, as OfficeBanao looks to capitalise on increasing demand for professional workspace design and execution across India’s expanding business ecosystem.
For the proptech and contech landscape, the company’s model highlights how platform-based approaches are beginning to reshape service-led segments such as interiors and fit-outs, introducing more structured, data-driven and AI processes into traditionally fragmented workflows.
