Facile has raised ¥6.4bn (approximately $41m) in a Series B round. The round comprises ¥3.9bn in equity, ¥1.8bn in debt, and ¥700m in a credit facility, with total funding reaching ¥8.3bn. Facilo sells communication cloud for real estate brokerages. They have also acquired AI valuation firm Collavit.
The equity was led by Globis Capital Partners for a second consecutive round. Coral Capital, and Angel Bridge also returned, with new investors Spiral Innovation Partners, DBJ Capital, Dentsu Ventures, i-nest capital, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital and For Startups Capital.
Facilo launched in 2023 and is a platform connecting brokerage sales agents with customers. It is used across over 2,300 broker offices by over 13,000 sales agents. The company is set to release an AI-driven product line comprising an AI CRM, an AI converter, and a survey agent. The expansion aims to broadens communication into workflow support with fragmented tools.
Collavit develops real estate valuation AI. It offers the ‘HowMa’ appraisal service and the ‘AI Assessment Pro’ tool. The two firms plan to run seller-side brokerage on a single platform to ease ‘SaaS fatigue’ from changing between products.
The funds will support AI development, strengthen Facilo’s organisation, and expand its product lineup through M&A like with the Collavit acquisition.
The round sits in the 92nd percentile among Series B deals in Japanese real estate in the past four years, a sign of investor conviction in property sector software.
