Enova Estates launches AI-powered property search in Spain

The AI-powered property search allows buyers to describe what they want in everyday language.

Real estate agency Enova Estates, based in Manilva on Spain’s Costa del Sol, has launched a new website featuring an artificial intelligence (AI) powered property search, giving buyers a more natural way to find homes in Spain.

Rather than relying solely on traditional filters such as location, price and number of bedrooms, the new search allows buyers to describe what they want in everyday language.

A buyer could search for ‘a modern two-bedroom apartment near the beach in Estepona with sea views and a large terrace’, and the AI technology interprets those requirements to identify relevant properties.

According to Björn Ingbrant, Marketing Manager and Co-Founder of Enova Estates, the aim is to make online property searches feel more like speaking directly with an experienced estate agent.

“Property portals have worked in essentially the same way for many years. Buyers select filters and then work their way through hundreds of results. With AI, buyers can simply describe what they are looking for.

“The technology helps connect them with properties that actually match those requirements.”

Enova Estates believes it is the first real estate agency in Spain to introduce AI-powered natural-language property search directly into its own property website.

The technology is aimed at international buyers who may know the type of lifestyle and property they want but are less familiar with individual Costa del Sol locations.

“Someone searching from Sweden, Norway, Germany or the UK may not know every urbanisation or municipality. But they know their budget, whether they want sea views, walking distance to the beach, a large terrace or a quiet location.

“AI can help translate those requirements into a much more relevant property search.”

The company specialises in Manilva, La Duquesa, Casares, Estepona and Sotogrande, with access to thousands of properties across the Costa del Sol.

Despite its investment in AI, Enova Estates views technology as supporting rather than replacing the estate agent.

“AI can make the search faster and more intelligent, but buying property remains a very personal decision. Our aim is to combine modern technology with local knowledge and the personal service international buyers need when purchasing a home in Spain.”
