Coadjute has completed the rollout of its new AI-native AML platform two months ahead of schedule, putting estate agents on the front foot just as HMRC’s latest guidance brings significant new compliance demands.
The UK AML compliance provider announced in April that it would migrate existing customers to its next-generation platform, including AI-powered Digital Assistant Clara, over six months. Strong demand for the new AI capabilities helped accelerate the programme, with the entire customer base now migrated in just months.
HMRC’s July 2026 update to its anti-money laundering guidance requires firms to review and adapt their compliance processes, adding to the regulatory workload facing agency businesses.
Unlike AML technology that simply gives agents tools to carry out compliance themselves, Coadjute provides AML as a fully managed service. Its technology, data and AI work alongside UK-based compliance specialists manage the operational burden on agents’ behalf – including implementing changes needed to keep processes aligned with evolving regulations and HMRC guidance.
From straightforward AML checks to more complex Source of Funds, Source of Wealth and Enhanced Due Diligence cases, Coadjute manages the process end to end, backed by clear SLAs and specialist support.
The new platform gives agents greater visibility across that work – it allows them to see what is happening with every check, understand what stage a case has reached and see when it has been completed – while Coadjute manages the compliance activity behind it. Clara provides additional 24/7 support alongside Coadjute’s UK-based compliance team.
“The smartest use of AI isn’t giving estate agents another tool, it’s giving them their time back. Completing this rollout two months early means every Coadjute customer now has access to our next-generation platform and Clara.
“More importantly, it comes at exactly the right time. HMRC’s latest guidance means agents once again need to understand what has changed and make sure their processes reflect it. As a fully managed service, that’s our job: we take care of the complexity and the work needed to stay compliant.
“Estate agents should be winning instructions, helping people move and building relationships with customers – not spending hours investigating AML cases or interpreting regulatory guidance.”
Dan Salmons, CEO, Coadjute
With AML requirements continuing to evolve, Coadjute mentions its model is designed to give agents something increasingly valuable – confidence that their compliance is being taken care of, without taking their people away from the work that grows their business.
