Buildora IQ expands AI property intelligence platform

The new features can support a range of projects such as new constriction, remodels, roofing, demolition, and other construction work.

Buildora IQ, an AI-powered property intelligence and pre-development platform, has expanded its real estate and construction technology tools with the launch of Permit Assistance. The new feature has been designed to help property owners, builders, investors, and development professionals to navigate the construction permitting process.

The new Permit Assistance capability extends Buildora IQ beyond early-stage property analysis by giving users a guided workflow for understanding permit requirements, organising required documents, identifying relevant agencies and submission pathways, preparing for corrections and tracking their permit process

Instead of replacing architects, engineers, contractors, or government agencies, Buildora IQ is designed to help users better understand what may be required and arrive at the permitting stage organised and informed.

“Permitting is one of the most confusing parts of developing or improving a property. We built Permit Assistance to create a clearer bridge between understanding what is possible on a property and understanding what needs to happen next.”

Gilbert Martirosyan, Founder, Buildora IQ

Permit Assistance joins a broad set of tools available through the Buildora IQ platform. Users can analyse a property and access information and tools including property intelligence, zoning and feasibility insights, conceptual floor plans and blueprints.

They can also analyse AI-generated property renders, construction cost estimates, permit intelligence and estimated permit costs, flood and terrain data, comparable-property insights, development analysis, and BIQ Chat – Buildora IQ’s AI-powered property assistant.

The platform is built around a simple objective – to consolidate fragmented early-stage property and construction information into one accessible environment. A user can begin with a property address or parcel, evaluate or explore potential concepts, estimate costs, visualise a project, investigate permitting considerations, and now continue into a guided permit-assistance workflow without having to piece together multiple independent software products.

The Permit Assistance feature can support different types of projects, including new construction, additions, accessory dwelling units, remodels, garage conversions, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, solar, pools, grading, demolition, commercial improvements and other construction-related work.

Depending on the project and jurisdiction, Buildora IQ can help users identify potential permit pathways, organise required items, work with permit-related documents, understand correction notices, prepare response information, and locate the appropriate government submission channel. Where online submission is unavailable, users can still organise their materials for the applicable agency’s required submission process.

Buildora IQ is focused on pre-development intelligence and guided assistance. Final project requirements, professional plans, approvals, inspections, fees, certifications, and permit issuance remain subject to the applicable licensed professionals and government authorities.

The expansion reflects Buildora IQ’s wider strategy of creating an end-to-end intelligence layer for property development-starting with the fundamental question of ‘What can I do with this property?’ and extending further into the steps required to move a potential project forward.
