Procore acquires Datagrid to accelerate AI strategy

Procore acquires Datagrid to accelerate AI-driven data integration, automating construction workflows and reducing data silos across the built environment.

Procore Technologies has acquired Datagrid as part of a strategic move to accelerate its artificial intelligence roadmap and improve how data is connected, analysed and acted on across construction and property workflows.

The acquisition brings Datagrid’s agentic AI and advanced reasoning capabilities into Procore’s construction management platform, expanding its ability to automate document-heavy processes such as submittal reviews, RFIs and cross-platform data coordination. The move is aimed at addressing one of the sector’s persistent challenges: fragmented data spread across multiple systems and stakeholders.

By integrating Datagrid’s technology, Procore is positioning itself to help owners, developers and contractors unify intelligence across ERP systems, cloud storage platforms and third-party data sources. This approach is designed to reduce manual intervention, improve accuracy and enable faster, more consistent decision-making across the construction lifecycle.

The deal builds on Procore’s long-term AI strategy, first outlined at its Groundbreak customer conference, and reflects a wider shift towards AI systems that can execute tasks autonomously rather than simply surface insights. For property and construction organisations operating at scale, this evolution promises to compress timelines and remove friction from complex, multi-party workflows.

“The combination of Datagrid and Procore is transformative. Together, we’re providing one of the broadest AI portfolios in construction. By integrating Datagrid’s AI and deep search capabilities, we will enable customers to bridge the gaps between siloed data and initiate actions across their entire ecosystem.

“This connectivity unlocks the true value of construction data, allowing our customers to innovate faster and focus on building the world around us.”

Steve Davis, President of Product & Technology, Procore

Datagrid’s products will continue to be available to both Procore and non-Procore customers, supporting organisations that operate across diverse technology stacks. Within Procore’s platform, the technology will underpin advanced reasoning use cases, enabling intelligence to flow across systems while automating intricate, previously manual tasks.

Thiago da Costa – who will join Procore to lead AI and data strategy – said the acquisition reflects a shared vision to move beyond AI as an assistive tool towards systems that actively execute work, automate complexity, and deliver measurable productivity gains across construction operations.

“Modern work has outgrown human capacity for manual processing. Our focus has always been on building an AI that can execute, not just talk. By joining Procore, we can now unlock unprecedented levels of productivity and quality for the thousands of customers who already build on its platform.”

The acquisition complements Procore’s ongoing investment in AI-led innovation, combining targeted M&A with internal R&D to modernise how data is used, shared and trusted across construction and real estate projects.

Procore completed the acquisition of Datagrid in January 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.
