The Hill Group has partnered with AI fitness technology company MAGIC AI to introduce next-generation, AI-powered fitness mirrors across its show homes, signalling a growing focus on wellness-led residential design supported by intelligent technology.
The partnership reflects The Hill Group’s broader approach to embedding wellbeing into the home environment, as developers increasingly explore how smart technology can enhance everyday living rather than simply add convenience.
By integrating AI-powered fitness mirrors into its show homes, The Hill Group demonstrates how health-focused technology can be incorporated seamlessly into modern residential space.
“At Hill, we believe homes should support every aspect of modern living, including health and wellbeing. As the way we live continues to evolve, we’re committed to designing homes that respond to new lifestyle patterns.
“By introducing the MAGIC AI Fitness Mirror in our show homes, we’re helping potential buyers see how they can integrate healthy habits into their everyday routines, all in the comfort of their own new home, without needing a dedicated home gym.”
Rebecca Littler, Group Sales and Marketing Director, The Hill Group
The MAGIC Mirror uses a hologram, video-enabled training surface to deliver bespoke workouts within the home. Powered by proprietary artificial intelligence, the platform monitors users’ position, range of movement and pace in real time across hundreds of exercises, providing on-screen prompts designed to improve posture, accuracy and performance.
The system can correct form, count repetitions and adapt training programmes dynamically, allowing residents to access personalised, coach-led workouts without leaving their living space.
Founded by Varun Bhanot, London-based MAGIC AI has raised £7m to date to support the development of its AI-powered fitness platform. The company’s most recent funding round, announced in October 2025, included investment from professional footballer Jesse Lingard and former England cricket captain Sir Alastair Cook, highlighting growing investor interest in AI-enabled wellness solutions designed specifically for the home.
For The Hill Group, the collaboration forms part of a wider strategy to align residential development with evolving lifestyle expectations. As buyers increasingly value flexibility, wellbeing and technology-enabled living, show homes are becoming a proving ground for innovations that demonstrate how future homes can adapt to changing habits.
The partnership also reflects a broader trend across the residential sector, where developers are exploring how artificial intelligence can enhance the lived experience – from energy management and smart layouts to wellbeing-focused features that support healthier routines.
By bringing AI-powered fitness technology into its show homes, The Hill Group is positioning wellness not as an optional extra, but as an integral part of modern residential design, offering buyers a glimpse of how technology can support more balanced, health-conscious living within the home.
