Provider of commercial lending technology for banks and credit unions, Baker Hill and AI-native platform for real estate and construction finance, Built has announced an expanded partnership.
The partnership will connect Baker Hill’s origination technology with Built’s CRE construction loan administration and portfolio management. It will also allow loan, borrower, property, project, budget, draw, asset and portfolio data to move between systems, giving banks and credit unions a more complete view of their CRE business without replacing technology they already use.

According to Federal Reserve data, US commercial banks hold over $3.1trn in commercial real estate loans, including approximately $454bn in construction and land development loans.
However, many financial institutions still manage critical post-close workflows outside their primary lending systems, relying on spreadsheets, email and shared drives to coordinate draws, budgets, inspections, covenants, exceptions, asset performance and supporting documentation. The disconnect can slow decisions, add manual work and limit visibility across the portfolio.

Built supports both construction and stabilised CRE loans. The platform centralises draws, inspections, exceptions and asset performance, so lenders aren’t stitching together data from separate systems.
