Boom partners with Tint to deliver embedded insurance for short-term rentals

Boom, the world’s first AI property management system (AiPMS), has partnered with embedded insurance platform Tint to launch an insurance product tailored to short-term rental operators.

The solution, BoomGuard, provides up to $50k in contents damage protection – covering guest-caused damage and bed bug remediation – plus optional liability cover of up to $1m. The product is embedded directly into Boom’s AiPMS, allowing managers to handle claims inside their existing workflows and reduce administrative overhead.

“This partnership with Tint enables us to take another step forward in empowering property managers to focus on growth while reducing the risks inherent to short-term rentals. Especially in times when revenues shrink and profitability is under pressure, BoomGuard gives managers a powerful advantage – helping them win trust with owners, bring more properties under management, and protect their bottom line.”

Shahar Goldboim, CEO and Co-Founder, Boom

For managers, BoomGuard is intended both as protection and a revenue driver: by automating claims handling and integrating cover into day-to-day operations, managers can attract more owners, strengthen guest relationships, and generate additional income while ensuring faster resolution of incidents.

“This insurance was built with property managers in mind. From tiered coverage that scales with your portfolio to protections like bed bug remediation and no contents deductible, it helps managers safeguard their operations and deliver peace of mind to homeowners and guests.

“Partnering with the Boom team is especially exciting because they truly understand the value of making insurance simpler and more effective for property managers.”

Jayme Estrada, Head of Vacation, Tint

The launch arrives as the short-term rental market faces growing regulatory scrutiny, higher guest expectations and increased financial risk for homeowners. Traditional homeowners’ policies frequently leave gaps when properties are used for STRs; BoomGuard aims to close those gaps with coverage designed for professional operators.
