One of the leading global law firms, White & Case LLP (White & Case), has advised Legora on its acquisitions of Cadastral, and Graceview this year.
Legora is the agentic operating system for legal work, supporting lawyers in research, review and drafting across complex matters. It is used by over 100,000 legal professionals at over 1,200 leading law firms and in-house legal teams across more than 50 markets.
Earlier in May, White & Case advised Legora on its acquisition of Graceview, an AI-driven regulatory intelligence platform that delivers real-time, tailored legal and regulatory updates to in-house legal, compliance and risk teams.
“This transaction brings together two highly complementary platforms and reflects the growing importance of real-time regulatory intelligence.”
Jamie Palmer, Partner, White & Case LLP
Through this acquisition, Legora will integrate Graceview’s AI-driven regulatory monitoring and horizon-scanning capabilities into its existing platform, enabling users to access consolidated, real-time insights on legal and regulatory developments across multiple jurisdictions.
The combined solution is expected to help legal, compliance and risk professionals better anticipate regulatory change, streamline internal processes and reduce the cost and complexity of managing regulatory risk.
“This acquisition will strengthen Legora’s technology offering and enhance the AI tools available to legal and compliance teams navigating complex regulatory change.”
Daniel Turgel, Partner, White & Case and Co-Head of the Firm’s Global Technology Industry Group
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partners Jamie Palmer (Sydney), Daniel Turgel, Angus Nunn (both London) and included partner Nicholas Boyle and associates Javed Ali and Edward Lee (all Sydney).
More recently White & Case advised Legora on the acquisition of Cadastral. This adds a significant layer, as it marks Legora’s fourth acquisition of 2026, and the company’s entry into commercial real estate, establishing the foundation for a new Legora engineering hub in New York City.
Legora also recently surpassed US $100m in annual recurring revenue, and reached a US $5.6bn valuation in its Series D funding round.
The White & Case team for the Cadastral acquisition was led by partners Ross Sturman (New York) and Daniel Turgel (London), associate Joshua Butler (New York), and included partner Samantha Rozell, counsel Chris Ohlgart (both in Chicago) and associate James Heaney (Boston).
