Giraffe360’s AI media platform to expand

Giraffe360 combines a proprietary robotic camera with an AI software stack to produce a full property media kit.

Founded in 2016 the London based company Giraffe360 has raised $10m in a Series B led by Cipio partners to push its platform out further.

The aim of Giraffe360 is to generate everything a real estate agent or photographer needs to market a listing in a single property visit. Agents and photographers will not only have access to the device but also to the AI processing software, cloud storage and the automated media generation tools in the background.

This also means HDR photography, a virtual tour, LiDAR-based floor plans in both 2D and 3D, video content, a property website, virtual staging, and social media assets, are all produced from one piece of hardware without multiple visits, multiple contractors, or a production pipeline stitched together from different providers.

“Real estate marketing shifts toward AI-powered, immersive, media-rich digital experiences, building the infrastructure powering this transition, from data capture to intelligent, automated marketing.”

Mikus Opelts, CEO, Giraffe360

Giraffe360 have customers in over 26 countries including enterprise clients such as RE/MAX, CBRE, and BNP Paribas Real Estate from prior funding rounds. The volume of their output has produced more media formats from a single capture and subscription model that bundles hardware access, software, and support.

Giraffe360’s platform eliminates specialist post-production work by using over 50 machine learning models to deal with the image stitching, floor plan measurement, content generation and staging. This results in a compressed production timeline for property listings. The AI platform is expected to be further developed by expanding product capabilities and growth into new markets supported by the new capital received.
